1998 - When we first set eyes on Fattoria Resta!

In August 1998 we explored southern Tuscany from our base at Agriturismo Stagnino, near Pienza. It was on the final day of our holiday that we first set eyes on Fattoria Resta - and it was love at first sight! We came back a few times to view the house, put in an offer, and before Christmas it was accepted. But we couldn't take possession of the house until January, so in the meantime, we made a miniature model of Fattoria Resta for our Presepe, our Christmas nativity scene .
