1999 - Moving in!

The last Spring of the century. The kitchen cabinets and appliances are delivered. We borrow a van and take an adventurous trip to Ikea and then to Resta, running out of gas on the way (luckily just in time to glide into the service station). We unload the van and picnic on fresh fava beans and pecorino cheese on the benches on the rotonda, as the dining room chairs have not yet arrived! Then, on the April 25 long weekend, we come back to with the kids, and their grandparents, for the first of many family holidays.
